And it was again Las Vegas. This year was a Super Las Vegas Supernationals as it was made very special by the presence of the best current karting champions, but also by some very special drivers like Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Buemi, Nelson Piquet Jr, Buddy Rice, Dan Wheldon, Michael Valiante, and many more…so the experience became quite unique.

The Event has been very well organized by the SKUSA President and his staff, and now it became the most prestigious single race worldwide. Short of the World Championship and European Championship - in Las Vegas we had every top racer for most manufacturers, and the most prestigious F1 driver ever ! So well done to SKUSA and all the sponsors and supporters of this race.

Manuel De Leonibus was present for KG and actually quite busy, supplying air boxes, radiators, spares of bodywork and accesories to many top teams and racers.

KG Special plus radiator - new red shade

KG USA just released the latest model of the KG special plus radiator. This edition is offered with a red colored shade, adding to the already available yellow, blue and silver. This radiator model is handmade and crafted with a very high standard. It is a proven perfomer for top level competitors.

Adjustable Cadet Rear Bumper - 2009,2010

This brand new product has been designed and manufactured to offer additional tuning
possibility for a cadet kart. Considering the fact that especially in the USA a variety of different rules and regulation are in effect, and also considering the need of adjusting the rear width according to conditions (like wet and dry to make an obvious example), KG came up with the SP.002.

It is available in 3 colors, black-red-blue. The mounting kit is the same used for the full size, which is the item code AT.011.

The Champion of all times at Lonato

Here couple of images from Schumacher testing in Lonato with Tony Kart a couple of weeks ago. It is unfotunate that he decided not to run for Ferrari this coming week end in Valencia. I believe that he would have done really well.

It is always good to see an ambassador for Karting of this caliber in action.

KG adjustable rear bumper for cadets

KG CADET ADJUSTABLE REAR BUMPER 2009 MODEL




KG designed and produced an additional option for the cadet rear bumper.

This new rear bumper is adjustable in order to better suit the different rules and conditions in North America. It is composed of 3 parts, and it come complete on a kit box containing the hardware required to put it together.

The actual mounting kit to attach the rear bumper to the frame is a separate items and it is the same as the one utilized by the KG full size bumper.

This new product, together with the already existing cadet bumper are available now in USA. The rear bumpers for cadets have been designed and created to increase safety to protect as much as possible the young drivers by jumping over or flipping when getting into contact with each other on the track and in competition.

This product is offered in black, red and blue.

Kart and Formula 1

A week or 2 ago I spoke to Davide G. and he mentioned that he was going to test in Lonato with the FA kart (Fernando Alonso). Then he mentioned that Alonso was actually going to be there and that he would be karting there during the week end, actively testing its kart line. In addition to him was also planed to attend 80's Rally World Champion Carlos Sainz.

And so it has been. Got few images to show it...










It is always good to see a real champion getting its "hand dirty".

New products 2009 - New Release !

Last week end we had the firsat Kart show in Italy and we presented few of teh new items for 2009. A new chain guard is on the way to USA and will be able to be used for all type of engines, like TAG, Rotax as well as any old style direct drive or similar. See the image here.



Then we have also a new kart stand, now more sturdy and robust, so that it will be able to handle better the US tracks and some of the higher weight limit on the karts. See here image of final drawing:

Vemme Kart

Here one of the last brands of competitive chassis that has just been released.
To be precise, the VEMME chassis, creation of Vince Mandarino, already debuted in
competition at the SKUSA Supernational 2008 in Las Vegas last november piloted by the famous driver Lorenzo Mandarino.

The VEMME utilize the latest KG EVO bodywork, and display a fantastic graphic kit designed by Mandarino. We wish VEMME, Vince and Lorenzo Mandarino great success in 2009.
