The KG rear bumper achieved and continue to achieve great success both in competition and commercially. By large the most popular rear bumper on the market, World Champion, is now also a product greatly appreciated from the regular karter for the safety improvements that brought since its creation and distribution.

For the USA market this product is available from KG importers and dealers, and if any trouble in locating just contact KG Marketing Office - Manuel De Leonibus.

New EVO 11 - Arrived ! (Press Release)

San Jose, CA - June 2008

KG announced the U.S. release of the new EVO 11 KG bodywork system featuring new side pods and support bars. Many American manufacturers have already added the EVO 11's modern style to their line up, noting its success and popularity in Europe. New lines on the front spoiler and nassau panel give the bodywork a design edge that many teams and drivers appreciate.

The EVO 11 has also proven itself on the track with wins in Daytona last December and good results in the Stars series and other races in 2008.

It could be assumed that the EVO 11 is simply another standard upgrade of KG's high performance bodywork - good looks, good design and great results. But the EVO 11 impresses us with a new trick up its sleeve: its nerf bars can be regulated, allowing the tuner and driver to choose and adjust for a rigid or more relaxed set-up.

Major KG importers have the EVO 11 in stock now or anticipate them arriving soon on delivery lines. Dealers and racers can contact KG USA at kgusa@kgkarting.it or contact Manuel De Leonibus at the KG USA office (408) 272-1039 for more information.

Stars or Karting, Race of America June 1, 2008

Hello Everyone,

Just some quick informations on the results of The Stars race in New Castle, Indiana. New Castle Motorsport Park is most probably the nicest facility for karting in USA. Owned and operated by the Dismore family, (Comet Kart Sales). I have the pleasure to work with the Dismore's and I surely value their work ethic, positive effort and passion that are putting in the industry.

Here the results for Final 2 (followed by Final 1) for all classes:

NEW Images and products

Hello there,

Hopefully everything is going well there and the season is rolling along and good things are happening.

I had a lot of work done recently, new projects, new products, and with it a lot of "headaches" with the state of affairs of the US economy as well as the world wide economy. Part of the problem I had, has been with logistics. It took a LONG time to get our shipments from Italy over here, and right now we are on the final stages of the trasport. So, hopefully next week we will be able to have everything available in regards to the new style of bodywork.

But the best answer to any trouble is to work harder and overcome the moment. So, that is exactly what I concentrated on and it worked.

Then, on the racing and commercial front, step by step we are getting more and more manufacturers and teams working with us and I'm quite certain that we will do really well with the new stuff. I got some new images with the EVO 11 bodywork. See here:

The Kart Mini does not have yet the new pods, but they will have them soon. Our fault, as mentioned above on the freight logistic.. Sorry Kart Mini.
We are expecting a quick grow of popularity on the EVO 11. The line and design are the latest advances done on the area, and as usual we are working toward the future to make it easier and better. Part of the good news of the EVO 11 is the nerf bar system, now giving an additional tuning possibility.

This is it for now. Will get back to the blog soon !

A Brand New Product - Go KG !

Well, sometime went by from the time I could sit down and write something up on my blog. Last month went to Chicago for the KART EXPO, and despite the rumours were not that favourable, yet the show went very well for us.

We presented a variety of new products, most importantly the new EVO bodywork line with couple of different options and design. It has been received very well from manufacturers, importers, dealers and most importantly from the racers and the general public. So it was satisfying to have that open acceptance of the product. You can see here couple of pictures.

We displayed 3 different chassis (Sodi, Margay and First Kart, all of them with the new EVO 11. Also, we had 2 new radiators presented. One, which official name is "Max" I decided to nickname it "The Monster", due to its dimensions. It is a great radiator that will even increase the perfomrmance of the current Pentagonal. Yet, the Pentagonal will stay for now the mainstay of the line, till the time "The Monster" will be produced and stocked, and till the time it will have proven itself.

We re-presented the "Cobra" airbox, after a full season of good results and championships, and the demand for this product is increasing every week. It is a rather simple piece, however it has been well designed and well manufactured, it is quite readily available and I made my priority to have it all the time and to make sure it can be distributed properly.

We also presented our new 08 catalog, freshly printed with most of the new products. I say most, because by the time we had the catalog by the printer we were already at work to create some new items that will be useful for the karting industry and its final user. I guess we will add those items to the catalog with an isert as soon as they will be finalized and produced.

As for everything else, as always, will strive to offer the best available and to make it easily available. This year we have in front many new challenges, most of them of economic nature, but we have been working diligently to overcome any and all obstacles even if outside our direct control line.

After all - life, business ad everything else is a game, so we need to keep playing at the best.

Son long for now and I will update you soon !

DAYTONA 2007

Hello there. Daytona was back this year and it was a success. I'm very happy of the return of this classic as it does start the karting season and give it a pace. It is also the first real event where you can have a glimpse at new things, products, people and teams.
